I love this scene; Owen taking comfort from Jack’s touch. I’ve always thought that Owen was very tactile. But because he’s learned that touch equals closeness which equals pain and hurt, he’s stopped letting people get close, stopped letting people touch him. But I think he does crave human sensation, which is one of the reasons he goes out on the pull so much. It allows him to have that tactility and that touch without the issue of closeness and pain. But I think that when comfort is offered in the form of touch, he takes it.
